Mario graduated from Calabar High School, where he distinguished himself at the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) level and graduated with 8 CSEC and 4 CAPE subjects with mainly distinctions and credits. He enrolled in the University of Technology Degree Programme majoring in accounting in 2011 but after two (2) years, decided that his accounting career would be fast tracked if he proceeded with the professional accounting qualifications.
In pursuance of his goals, Mario registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) on January 1, 2014 and commenced sitting the exams on June 30, 2014. He was awarded a Diploma in Accounting and Business by ACCA. To date, Mario has continued with high quality performance with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant exams and is on his way to becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant.
Mario commenced with COCN as a part-time clerk in 2012 and returned in February 2014 to join the full-time staff and has since risen to Junior Accountant/ Auditor.

During his spare time Mario enjoys reading and music.
